Ben has been in leadership development, missions, discipleship service to humanity for over 30 years. After brief auditing and private sector experience, he served with the United Nations for 17 years till 2007. He was Chief, Human Resources Management for UNICEF Nigeria before serving the Eastern and Southern Africa Region from Nairobi UNHQ. Ben envisioned wholistic healing, reconciling, discipling and transformation of nations while contributing to UN reconstruction of South Sudan after 21 years of war. He was heart-broken from reflections on inhumanity, godlessness and the African leadership gap. Leaving the UN in 2007, he led teams in piloting the ideas that have now resulted in establishing the Healing & Transforming Leadership (HTL) organization. He had a membership of International Association of Facilitators (IAF); Organizational Development Network (ODN); Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM); and other bodies. Ben chairs the Board of Trustees of Christian Ethics Initiative of Nigeria (formerly, Congress on Christian Ethics in Nigeria – COCEN), and the Board of Directors of Glow Foods Nigeria Ltd – a tent making initiative of HTL. He serves on the Africa and Global Accelerate leadership teams for Disciple Making Movements (DMM). He is married to Lydia and has four children. Member

Ruth served the Plateau State Library Department for 17 years, becoming Deputy Director. She founded Christian Heritage Bookshop in both Jos and Lagos and led as CEO for 23 years before retiring into Taurari Farms (a poultry project) she now leads as CEO. She is deeply involved in HTL’s field work in catalysing movements and is also a leader in the ministry’s efforts to reach women and children.
